Cyprus makes a dynamic appearance once again at the Thessaloniki International Fair, participating in the anniversary 90th TIF, which will take place from September 5 to 13, 2026, at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition and Congress Centre, featuring Japan as the Honored Country.

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry of Cyprus / Trade Centre of the Cyprus Embassy in Athens participates in this year’s event with an organized Cypriot presence in Pavilion 17 – AKADEMIA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth and four private Universities of Cyprus.

The Cypriot participation is developed across five booths in Pavilion 17, with the primary goal of promoting Cyprus as a modern and outward-looking hub of university education, research, and innovation, as well as further strengthening the educational and academic ties between Cyprus and Greece.

Visitors will have the opportunity to be informed by representatives of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth and the participating Cypriot Universities about the wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, student life in Cyprus, as well as opportunities for academic and research collaboration.

Its presence in the thematic showcase AKADEMIA holds particular importance, as Pavilion 17 at this year’s TIF is transformed into a unified hub for Education, Technology, Research, and Innovation. AKADEMIA consistently serves as a meeting point for the educational and academic community with pupils, students, parents, educators, and the general public, highlighting modern developments in higher education, research, internationalization, and the connection between Universities and the labor market.
